Commonly used in a large variety of food processing as a flavor enhancer (MSG) stimulates our taste buds and makes a variety of foods taste better. This product is made by a fermentation process using starch, beet sugar, cane sugar, or molasses, then processed into a granulated dry form. Use level is approximately 1/2 teaspoon per pound of food.
